Hi Folks
The first Sunday, in the month of April each year , we host our
Fun-Match unless that falls on Easter and then we do the match
the week before. This will be our 17th annual match and we have
a new location (the same one we used last year)! We WILL be at
Rusch Park in Citrus Heights.
A flyer is attached.
This is also usually our biggest fund raiser of the year for Rescue.
When We will have a “Low Cost Vaccine, Heartworm & Microchip Clinic”
that we are hosting with the help of Dr. Brent Wooden from Old Towne
Vet Hospital, 10530 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA. There is a flyer
lists the details of the match and all of the attractions. An entry
form is on the back and if you can help us by circulating the
flyers, I would appreciate it.
Each year there is a Raffle, Food Concession for people and this
year a food concession for your dogs called the “Poochie Bar”
complete with “bark’tenders” who will be happy to package and sell
you gourmet doggie delights and bottled water for your best friend.
We also offer CGC (Canine Good Citizenship Tests) and Something new
this year is our Doggie Diva (Beauty Contest) $3 entry fee judging
is at 12:30 (noonish) and groups are divided in male and female
categories. Awards will go to winner(s) and 1st-3rd runners up.
Obedience and rally will be in the morning beginning at 9:30am.
There will be a lunch break and then conformation will be in the
afternoon between 12:45pm-1:00pm. So, folks who want to do
conformation will be able to do obedience work first and then be
able to participate in conformation. However, day of match
registration and check-ins for pre-entries begin as early as 8:30am.
In 2011 we placed 118 dogs through Rescue; the money raised from
this event goes directly to rescue to help the dogs.

TO VISITORS OF THIS WEBSITE:
We hope this site will be of assistance to
you in finding reputable breeders of more than 60 AKC-registered
breeds. In this age of the puppy-mill industry, it is most
important that potential dog owners be put in contact with
ethical, non-commercial breeders, those who breed for love and
not for profit. Breeders listed here can advise potential buyers
on what to expect from the particular breed they are
considering. Those who purchase a puppy will always have a ready
source of information and guidance as their pet matures. Best of
all, they will be assured of buying a healthy, well-socialized
puppy that has been raised in a loving home.
